Bucky is 5 today. We picked him up at Air Freight at Detroit Metro in April 1998, weighing all of 44 lbs. Last April he weighed 155, hope it is less at his annual visit to the vet. He is enjoying treats from Bailey. No cake. Happy New Year!

I almost hate to add my comments to this class conversation since my husband always gives me a hard time on my college schedule, but I can't resist. Kris, the liberal arts classes are the ones that will really make you think about current events and are the most helpful down the road. To figure out a physics problem may be a requirement, but I never found any of those classes to help me in the "real world." Being able to write properly is probably the most helpful thing you can learn throughout your school career - Mick I recall having to assist you with some of your letters recently - maybe if you paid attention during those "blow off" classes, you wouldn't need it. That is it for my soap box and I hope you all know that my little picking on Mick is nothing compared to what I get every day at home! See you all on x-mas eve. We are really looking forward to it. Nancy, what do you need us to bring?
Connie from wrote:
Thu Dec 12 2002 4:34PM
Don't let those guys give you a hard time Kris. Have a safe trip home.
Kris from wrote:
Thu Dec 12 2002 11:51AM
They are called liberal arts stuidies and I have to take 40 credits of them, and yeah they are kind of blow offish, but I needed something handleable with physics. but they are definately more challenging than pasty making 101, I took that with professor grandma a long time ago:)

You are telling me that The American Woman, Sports, and Guitar aren't blow off classes? I think my fake schedule would be harder. This is coming from the guy that had Hockey I and Hockey II:)

Kris from wrote:

Maybe those are the most challanging classes at your alma matter, but I happen to be taking real classes such as Narrative and descriptive writing, The American Woman, Intro to Physics, Sport in society, and one major blow off class, elementray guitar. YEah, it'll be fun :)
